Manatee Bay Students participated in the Special Olympics
Mrs. Gaskill and students distributed lunches to our Manatee Bay teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Manatee Bay students participated in the Rotary Run Mayor's Challenge and helped to earn $500 for the school! The $500 check will be put into the general fund for Manatee Bay. The general fund covers costs incurred by all students, for example, student incentives, FSA t-shirts, etc.
In the 2019-2020 School Year, the Manatee Bay PTA donated the funds necessary to outfit our school with a state of the art video monitoring and buzzer system for access points into the school. In October of the 20-21 school year it was installed and has become extremely useful to administrative staff. Another example of the PTA working together to provide safety for our students, staff, and community!
In the 2019-2020 School Year, the Manatee Bay Elementary volunteers were recognized by the Florida Department of Education and were presented with the Golden School Award. The award was presented in recognition and appreciation for the leadership and support rendered to the school volunteer program.
The Florida Heiken Children’s Vision Program provides no-cost comprehensive eye exams and glasses if necessary, for Florida public school students who qualify to participate. This program is still available to students during e-learning. Parents are encouraged to apply via the Florida Heiken Portal at www.floridaheiken.org
Broward County Public Schools has partnered with Hazel Telehealth Services to provide “at-home” telehealth services to students. Students will be provided healthcare services such as urgent care visits, health screening, patient/family education, follow-up care and consultation, coordination with a family physician, prescription sent to the preferred pharmacy, over-the-counter medication, and school & community resource referrals by a physician or advanced registered nurse practitioner.

Manatee Bay Elementary School is partnering with a local vendor Fun Services for cloth face coverings. Each mask purchased helps provide a free mask to teachers, staff and students in need.
You can choose black or white with 2 different logo designs. Adult and Youth sizes offered.
Each mask is 2 cloth layers.
